Here’s something I’ve learned from being out in the community and talking to people face-to-face:

People connect with PEOPLE.

A lot of voters walk into an election recognizing a name, a party, or something they’ve seen over and over again. But there’s a whole different kind of energy when people actually come together, meet candidates, ask questions, talk about the issues and feel like they’re part of something happening in their own community.

That’s what I want to build locally.

Not another boring political meeting.

I’m talking food. Music. A DJ. Good conversations. Candidates in the room. Friends bringing friends. People asking the questions they’ve been wanting to ask without feeling like they have to be a political expert to show up.

Come eat. Come hang out. Meet people. Ask questions. Learn something. Bring somebody with you.

I want people walking away saying, “Okay… THAT was actually fun. When’s the next one?”

But putting these events together costs money. Food, the DJ, the location, supplies and everything that goes into creating the experience adds up.

So I’m raising money to help make these local events happen.

Join us for a Picnic in the Park, grab a plate of food, and let’s talk about what’s on the ballot. We’ll break down the propositions, answer questions, and help you feel more informed before you make your decisions.

Need help returning your ballot? I’ll have a team there that can help you get it dropped off and show you how to track it so you know it was received.

Not registered to vote yet? We’ll have a team on-site to help you get registered.
